All about Contemporary Rock

The term ‘contemporary’ refers to anything that is happening right now or recently happened, in other words, things that aren’t historical or long ago. Rock music is a form of music constructed from a wide range of subcultures such as blues, jazz and country. There are many subgenres within this broad category including punk rock, heavy metal, alternative rock and indie rock among others.
